Opportunities are available for fulltime Fitter and Turner to join our team in Tamworth, NSW.

We are looking for team players to undertake preventative maintenance on various food manufacturing plant and equipment. You will need the ability to analyse, diagnose, repair, modify or install parts and equipment working to minimise downtime. This will involve studying drawings to determine suitable material, sequence of operations, and machine settings.

Hours of Work is a rotating roster that consists of 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on,
4 nights off.

The suitable applicant needs to be a qualified Fitter and Turner with the following attributes:

AQF certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of at least 3 years of experience.

As a fitter and turner able to fits, assembles, grinding, shaping metal parts etc.

Experience with repair damaged and worn parts and equipment working on hydraulics and conveyors and other manufacturing machinery.

Ability to analyse and eliminate maintenance problems.

Able to work under pressure, acting independently and part of a team.
Contribute and support outcomes of maintenance toolbox meetings.
Comply with company policies and procedures, and occupational health and safety.
Available to help train and support other team members.
 
Excellent Salary Package – salary range depending on skills, experience, and qualifications of $100,000-$110,000+super+overtime.
