Event Manager

Located in a major Alice Springs hotel/apartment complex the role is for the Event Manager to manage the hotel Function and Conference centre.


Your role will include;

  • Promotion of conferences and the function centre to potential customers
  • Meeting clients to discuss their needs, budgets and function packages
  • Arrange and coordinate accommodation, transport, catering, equipment hire, displays, signage, audio-visual equipment etc for clients
  • Supervision and training of staff
  • Opening and closing of the department
  • Oversee contractors
  • Provide an excellent customer experience
  • Ensuring Workplace, Health and Safety and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Record keeping and communication of daily operations

 

In return, we offer an attractive basic salary of $70,000 per annum + superannuation.
