Our client is a South Australian solar energy company which has been committed to deliver top quality solar systems at unbeatable prices and take advantage of continuous cost-effective solutions and technology improvements in solar energy to provide premium products at affordable prices to customers Australia-wide. Currently, due to the rapid growth of the company's business and in order to fill the recent staff shortage, the company is looking for proficient electricians with 3 years relevant industry experience to join the team. This position is responsible for installing, testing, connecting, maintaining and modifying electrical equipment, wiring and control systems for solar systems

Duties and responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, wiring and lighting systems;
• Maintain good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment;
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems such as transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to ensure proper functioning;
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards;
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information;
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts;
• Calibrate electrical equipment to provide specifications;
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures;
• Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

Required qualification/skills:

• Completion of relevant electrician apprenticeship program
• Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
• Electrician license required in state of practice
• 3-5 years of electrical experience
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
• Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
• Willing to work overtime

salary range $55,000 - $ 70,000
