About the Role ...
- Full-time position for the right candidate
- Salary of between $65k - $75k plus superannuation
Our client has a complete menu of auto maintenance and diagnostic services, including oil changes, car air conditioning repair, wheel balancing, dpf cleaning, major overhauls, Lovells suspension upgrades and more. Our clients team handles all minor and major engine repairs for cars, trucks, SUVs, minivans, fleet vehicles and diesel vehicles. They service Toyota, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Ford, Holden, Volkswagen and many more makes and they use the industry’s latest technologies and service techniques to perform effective repairs and maintenance.
To be successful in this role you will need to do more than just quality auto servicing and "fixing" cars, you will need to ensure your customer service skills are up to scratch as our clients customer base keep returning as a direct result of our clients staff going above and beyond to earn their customers trust and respect, by treating them like family. You will be able to consistently display a high level attention to detail and work in a team environment, with safety being of the utmost importance in the workplace.

About you …
We are seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics with a strong work ethic who take pride in their work and can work alongside an established team. We are looking for someone who has the ability to diagnose and fault find while carrying out routine repairs and maintenance. You must be flexible with working hours and if called upon, attend to breakdowns. Completion of all relevant paperwork and documentation pertaining to works carried out on vehicles, and you must have your own tools along with the right to live and work in Australia.
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
- Qualified as a Diesel Mechanic
- Experienced and trained in Diesel Engines
- Experienced in working on test benches
- Able to demonstrate efficient work practices
- Possess good English skills to complete necessary reports or speak to colleagues or customers.
