Machinist (First Class)

Location: Gillman SA 5013

$60,000-$80,000 pa

Our Client a well-established engineering and fabricating company who provides high quality products to their clients. Currently they are looking for full time skilled and experienced First class welders to join their dynamic team.

You will be working as part of a friendly team to produce highly products.

You must have experience working with various types of metal, a Formal Qualification and preferably experience in insulation. The workshop is clean and tidy with excellent facilities.

Key requirements;
• Clear understanding of production drawings
• Fit and assemble fabricated metal parts into products, set up machining tools, production machines and operate machining tools and machines to shape metal stock and castings
• Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and presses, and setting controls
• Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
• Cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
• Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
• May erect machines and equipment on-site
• Good organizational skills with a "can do" attitude
• Experience in working in a small to medium but highly task orientated engineering work
• Ability to work under pressure
• Physically fit
• Knowledge of large manufacturing plants and conveying systems(Preferred)

Your creativity and specialized skills in sheet metal work is highly regarded. Excellent salary package + Super (Between $ 60,000 to $ 80,000.00) pa.
