Mitolo Family Farms has been producing onions and potatoes for over 50 years.  The company has grown significantly over the last 50 years and has expanded its operations nationally.  The company now has multiple Maintenance opportunities including, Diesel Mechanics, Maintenance Fitters and Trade Assistants in the Pinnaroo Mallee region.

The roles offer permanent employment working on a wide range of agricultural machinery and heavy and light vehicles. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including the repair and maintenance of an extensive range of farming equipment, machinery and vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing service, repairs & maintenance of all machinery, equipment and vehicles both in the workshop and farm
• Manage & maintain service records for machinery and vehicles
• Repair and maintain hydraulic systems
• General assembly, repairs, and maintenance of agricultural machinery and farm equipment
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Scheduled maintenance

To be successful in the role you will have;

• Trade qualifications as a Light or Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural or Plant Mechanic (LV or Diesel Mechanic, Cert III), Mechanical Fitter or relevant disciplines,
• Self-motivated, highly organised with attention to detail and ability to work independently and part of a team
• Good computer skills
• Current Driver’s license
• Good communication skills
• Sound knowledge and understanding of WH&S requirements

 Desirable:

• Agricultural machinery servicing experience (John Deere, highly advantageous)
• Knowledge of hydraulic & auto electrical systems
• Forklift licence

This is a full-time position with salary $80,000- $110,000 + superannuation.
