Our client Structural Engineering is a nationally recognized company, specializing in steel fabrication and erection, in South Australia, for over 40 years and in recent years have undertaken projects interstate. We are seeking the services of a talented Engineering Manager, skilled at coordinating and managing Crane Operators, Riggers and support personnel on all crane and rigging requirements and activities.
Some of the core responsibilities include:
· Determining, implementing and engineering Crane Lift strategies
· Providing advice on the engineering and coordination of Cranes and Lifting Activities
· Managing Client Relations and Business Development
· Costing and scheduling of projects within the Crane Division
· Attending meetings and site inspections to ascertain clients’ requirements
· Ensuring legal compliance with legislation regarding standards and specifications
· Ensuring engineering standards are met in accordance with Company's Policies and Procedures
· Lead a Safe Operational Culture
· Prepare formal quotations and deliver explanation to clients
· Working on several projects at any one time
· Display leadership skills and deliver work instructions to crane crews
· Develop strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors
· To ensure supplier relationships are maintained through good management, good communication and ethical behavior.
· Overseeing maintenance requirements to optimize efficiency
· Other duties as requested by the General Manager - Operations
Some of the core requirements include:
Proven experience in the crane industry Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to problem solve Excellent crane knowledge and their capabilities Excellent Liccon and Kranxpert skills
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years’ relevant work experience AutoCAD – Basic/Advanced Training Hold a current HR driver’s license, High risk license and white card Your expected salary will be between $100,000-$120,000 per annum + superannuation, based on qualifications and experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Engineering Manager, looking to further their skills in an autonomous role, but with experienced professionals guiding and supporting them on site. This is a permanent full-time role, based in Adelaide.
