Senior Client Services Coordinator-Residential Care

Our client is a one-stop shop with over 20 years’ experience in providing behavioural services to people of all ages and demographics.  They are looking for a highly experienced senior residential care officer for their facilities based on the Gold Coast.

The ideal candidate will provide care and supervision for children in their new state of the art residential care facility.

 

This is a senior role and as such it will require the following essential skills:

 

  • Client needs assessments including the planning and development of educational training and support programs
  • Identify the nature and extent of each client’s difficulties
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients
  • Referrals to support agencies to provide additional help
  • Assessment of resources required (for health, welfare, housing, and other facilities and services)
  • Liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private businesses about community issues and promoting awareness of community resources and services
  • Supporting families and providing education and care for children
  • Supervision and helping young people to address social, emotional, and financial problems
  • Preparation of submissions for funding and resources and reporting as necessary

 

Qualifications

A minimum of an AQF diploma or equivalent in a related occupation, and at least 3 years of experience

 

Salary range: $70,000-$80,000 per annum + superannuation
