Experienced Cropping Manager required for a permanent position on a large scale potato and cropping farm in Hillston NSW.  We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn.  The successful candidate will supervise and work with a small and successful team which will be involved in the day to day running of four 8R John Deere tractors.

The successful applicant would have attention to detail with a can do attitude and will need to demonstrate experience and competence in:

• Controlled traffic in large scale cropping
• Ground preparation for row crop farming
• Supervising employees and farming operations
• Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery.
• Managing cereal harvest and liaising with contractors
• Chemical Handling Certificate
• Greenstar precision farming
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Driver’s licence

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

• HC or MC Driver’s licence
• High Risk Forklift Licence

Established in 1972 the Mitolo Family Farms is a successful agricultural business supplying potatoes to major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally. 

Salary $90,000 -$95,000 + super+ car+ laptop + phone
