Based in Kilcoy, Queensland , our client is one of Australia’s leading fully integrated beef, meat processing company.

We are looking for fulltime Maintenance Fitters for our morning and afternoon shifts.

We are looking for team players to undertake preventative maintenance on a variety of food manufacturing plant and equipment.

Analyzing, diagnosing, repairing, modifying or installing parts and equipment will be required to minimize downtime. This will involve interpreting drawings to determine suitable material, operations sequence, and machine settings.
The suitable applicant needs to be a qualified Fitter with the following attributes:
AQF certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of at least 3 years of experience.
As a fitter able to fits and assembles metal parts etc.
Experience with repair damaged and worn parts and equipment working on hydraulics and conveyors and other manufacturing machinery.
Ability to analyse and eliminate maintenance problems.
Ability to work under pressure, acting independently and part of a team.
Contribute and support outcomes of maintenance toolbox meetings.
Comply with company policies and procedures, and occupational health and safety.
Available to help train and support other team members.

Remuneration
This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience but it would be within a salary range of between $90,000 - $100,000 per annum + superannuation.
